New awards ceremony announced celebrating demolition individuals

At Demolition Hub, we’ve always been proud to shine a spotlight on the demolition industry – an industry that is the backbone of regeneration, progress, and change across the UK.

Today, we are beyond excited to announce the launch of a brand-new initiative:

🏆 The DEMMYS – Demolition Hub Industry Awards 🏆

The DEMMYS are not just another awards ceremony. They are the first awards of their kind dedicated entirely to celebrating the people of demolition. Too often, the individuals whose skill, dedication, and passion drive this sector forward go unrecognised outside of their own companies and project teams. We want to change that.

These awards will recognise and celebrate the individuals who make a real difference in demolition across the UK – from the operatives on-site, supervisors, engineers, health & safety leaders, and rising stars, through to the veterans whose careers have helped shape this industry.

This is about shining a light on people as much as projects.

Because behind every tower safely felled, every site cleared for future growth, every innovation in sustainability and safety… there is someone who put their heart, head, and hands into it.

We’ll be bringing the industry together for what promises to be a night of recognition, celebration, and inspiration – the chance to say thank you to those who so often get on with the job quietly, professionally, and brilliantly.

Categories will include:

        •       360 Excavator Operator of the Year

        •       Health & Safety Champion

        •       Marketing Executive of the Year

        •       Contracts Manager of the Year

        •     Remote-Control Equipment Operator of the Year

With the DEMMYS, we aim to create an annual tradition that the whole industry can be proud of – a benchmark of excellence and a celebration of the people who keep demolition in the UK world-leading.
