National Demolition Association Convention & Expo named fastest growing construction show in 2024

WASHINGTON – The National Demolition Association's (NDA) Annual Demolition Convention & Expo, Demolition San Antonio, was named a Fastest 50 Award Grand Winner in the category for Fastest Growing Construction Show for 25.5 percent Blended Growth at Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Awards & Summit this month. The Trade Show Executive's (TSE) Fastest 50 Awards are judged based on growth metrics in the trade show industry, including exhibit space, number of companies exhibiting, and growth in attendance.

NDA has grown exhibiting companies at the NDA Annual Convention & Expo from 57 in 2017 to 109 in 2024 and expo square footage from 15,600 square feet to 19,560 square feet in 2024.

The continued growth of the NDA Annual Convention & Expo reflects the industry’s need for connecting trusted, certified demolition professionals with reliable equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers. NDA provides an environment where these connections develop into life-long partnerships, creating mutually beneficial business outcomes for demolition companies and industry vendors alike. Beyond business, NDA provides resources that advance environmental stewardship and public safety, helping members keep the communities they serve safe.

NDA hosts the fan-favorite Live DEMOlition Event®, first introduced in 2018, in conjunction with the NDA Annual Convention & Expo. This event offers NDA exhibitors and sponsors an additional opportunity to connect and showcase their equipment on the ground in real-time and in a simulated demolition environment. Hands-on equipment testing allows demolition professionals to learn best practices and maintenance directly from manufacturers, reduce risks of accidents by understanding improper handling and mitigate malfunctions, and receive training that helps avoid operational delays and increased costs. The Live DEMOlition Event® has grown from 15 exhibitors with 18 pieces of equipment in its first year to 29 exhibitors with 89 pieces of equipment and attachments in 2025.

NDA recently concluded a successful 2025 Annual Convention & Expo, Demolition New Orleans, in New Orleans. The 2026 event will take place in Phoenix, Arizona from 4-7 February.
