Demolition works concluded last week as Cawarden brought down a dormer bungalow as part of an exclusive new residential development by Cassidy Homes – a small arm of the wider Cassidy Group.
Cawarden was appointed to the project by Cassidy Homes to demolish the bungalow on Coventry Road in the quiet village of Fillongley in beautiful Warwickshire, to clear the area for a replacement dwelling as part of the Far Parks development.
Cawarden’s work to complete the demolition of the bungalow – including the removal of the slab and foundations – and clearance of the demolition arisings took five days from start to finish. It involved a small site team and a single machine to complete the work.
98% of all waste from the site was recycled by segregating the waste into skips.
We have a long-standing relationship with the Cassidy Group – working on an array of prestigious jobs over the years. So when Cassidy Homes asked us to help with the demolition work at Far Parks, of course, we were delighted to help. The job itself was straightforward, but the detailed planning, expertise, care and consideration to surrounding neighbours were still to the highest of standards.”
Far Parks boasts uninterrupted views of miles of picturesque countryside set directly behind the development which is expected to be completed in the Autumn.
We were excited to see the progression of the demolition works at the front of our Far Parks Development. Working together with my team on site, the Cawarden operatives delivered this small contract in a safe and efficient manner which remained in keeping with their usual excellent high standards. This development has been one of the most enjoyable from my 32 years of experience in the construction industry. We are actively seeking new land acquisitions to expand the Cassidy Homes side of the business.”
